Mohammad Rizwan has a net worth of $6 million, which is approximately Rs. 105.53 crore rupee in PKR (Pakistani Rupee). Mohammad Rizwan is a Peshawar-based wicket-keeper batsman who idolizes Adam Gilchrist. He made his First-Class debut for Peshawar in 2008, impressing the selectors with a string of notable performances with the bat and gloves. Rizwan’s journey from the Peshawar College team at the age of 17 to the Pakistan national team at the age of 22 was incredible and hard-working.
He struggled to cope with the pressure of playing white-ball cricket in the early stages of his Under-19 career. He did, however, overcome adversity with the assistance of his domestic coaches and mentors. After an 87-ball 103 from Rizwan helped Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Fighters win the Pentangular One Day Cup with a six-wicket win over Baluchistan Warriors in the final, he pushed his case for a spot in the national side even further. Furthermore, Rizwan played a key role in Peshawar Panthers’ national T20 champions in 2014 and 2015.

Mohammad Rizwan ICC Ranking, Career Info & More.
Rizwan made his international debut shortly after the 2015 World Cup when the slot behind the stumps was still up for grabs. He was a limited batsman but a technically sound keeper when he first rose through the ranks. He started well against Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe, averaging nearly 60 with the bat in his first eight innings, but his flaws were quickly exposed when he faced more difficult opposition. After a long dry spell, when he lost his place to Sarfaraz for the World T20 in 2016, there was little doubt who Pakistan’s No. 1 wicketkeeper was. Following the World T20 debacle, Sarfaraz was appointed captain of the limited-overs sides, and Rizwan’s game time decreased even further, eventually coming to a halt until Sarfaraz sat out the final five games of the January 2019 tour to South Africa serving a ban.
Rizwan has been a prolific run-scorer on the domestic circuit, averaging just under 50 in List A cricket and 41 in first-class cricket. He lacks the shots required to be a valuable asset in T20Is, but with that being Sarfaraz’s strongest suit, both as a batsman and captain, it would have been difficult to dislodge him in the format in any case.
Rizwan has been an ever-present participant in the Quaid-e-Azam trophy, plying his trade with the hugely successful SNGPL side, helping his side to three titles in the last four years since making his debut on Pakistan’s domestic circuit over a decade ago. For that, a single Test cap in 2016 feels somewhat insufficient.
T20 Career
T20s and Rizwan did not appear to be a natural fit, but he has made a mockery of those predictions with a record-breaking year in 2021. He began with an unbeaten 104 against South Africa, which was followed by seven more half-centuries, giving him the most T20I runs in a single year by any player. In addition, he was the second-highest run-scorer in the 2021 PSL, trailing only his Pakistan opening partner Babar Azam, and led Multan Sultans to the title.
His consistency and stability at the top of the order turned what could have been a Pakistan weakness into a Pakistan strength. Rizwan now appears to be in the prime of his career and one of Pakistan’s most prized assets as the World T20 approaches in 2021.
