Smita Srinivas and Srinivas Mandhana gave birth to her on July 18th. She comes from a cricketing family. Her father and brother were both district cricketers for Sangli. She decided to become a cricketer after seeing her brother compete in the Maharashtra state Under-16 tournaments. Her brother, Shravan, continues to bowl her in the nets.
