Former India Batting Coach Sanjay Bangar’s Journey

Sanjay Bangar was named to India’s Test squad for the 2001 match against England. In only his second Test match, he scored an unbeaten century against Zimbabwe. Bangar began his IPL career with the Deccan Chargers before moving on to the Kolkata Knight Riders in 2009. In 2010, he was named India-A coach before taking over as batting coach of Kochi Tuskers Kerala. Kings XI Punjab appointed him as a coach in 2014.
